- Tiered Fountains: Tiered fountains are characterized by multiple levels or tiers of basins that water flows down from one to the next. These fountains often have a classical or formal design, making them popular in gardens and public spaces. The water flows from the top tier down to the bottom, creating a soothing and elegant visual and auditory experience.
- Statuary Fountains: Statuary fountains feature a sculptural element, such as a figurine or statue, at the center of the fountain. The water typically flows from or around the statue, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. These fountains often have artistic and decorative designs and are found in gardens, parks, and courtyards.
- Birdbath Fountains: Birdbath fountains are designed to serve as both a water source for birds and a decorative element in a garden. Can I leave the fountain outside over winter?(Expand)
Whether you can leave a fountain outside over the winter depends on several factors, including the type of fountain, your climate, and the materials used in the fountain's construction.
- Climate: The most important factor is your local climate. If you live in an area with mild winters and no risk of freezing temperatures, you may be able to leave your fountain outdoors year-round. However, in regions with cold winters and freezing temperatures, it's generally not recommended to leave fountains outside during the winter.
Why you should not leave your fountain frozen during cold winter?(Expand)
- Water expands when it freezes, and this can cause damage to your fountain. Freezing water can crack or damage the fountain's basin, pump, and plumbing. It can also harm the finish or material of the fountain. If you expect freezing temperatures, it's safer to store or winterize your fountain.
What if I do not have enough indoor space to store the fountain or maybe the fountain is too big and heavy?(Expand)
